You may pay for 1 year of membership or 3 years of membership. Choose the option that you prefer when you pay. You will be notified to renew when your membership is about to expire based on the time you select.
Most Common. Any person who is employed by/for a Texas governmental entity and is actively engaged in the administration, development and enforcement of building codes and all related ordinances. An Individual Member has voting rights and can hold no more than one elected office.
Any person having an interest in furthering the objectives and purposes of WICED of TX that is not representing a Corporate Member. An Associate Member has voting rights and can hold no more than one elected office. (Similar to Individual Membership, but not a government employee)
Any Association or Chapter whose members are employed by/for a governmental entity that is actively engaged in the administration, development, and enforcement of building codes and all related ordinances. Chapter Membership shall have one voting right and hold no more than one elected office. Each Chapter Membership shall designate one member of their organization as the representative. One individual representative shall be identified on the membership application and may be changed at any time by written or email notification to the Secretary. (Individual members of the joining Association or Chapter should obtain individual or associate memberships to receive discounts, hold office, and have voting rights)
Any organization such as an association, society, testing laboratory, institute, university, college, company, manufacturer, or corporation interested in the purpose and the objectives of WICED of TX. Corporate Membership has no voting rights and cannot hold elected office.
A student member shall not hold an elective office and has no voting rights. Any student currently enrolled full-time. Students must provide proof of status to qualify for membership. Not currently available online; interested students should email WICEDofTX@gmail.com to request membership.
A Retiree member shall not hold an elective office and has no voting rights. Retirees must provide proof of status to qualify for membership. This may include verification by an Individual or Associate Member. Not currently available online; interested retirees should email WICEDofTX@gmail.com to request membership.
